Form Components

Text Component

A Text Component can be set up to require a variety of different types of input from an app user. A Text Component can be used to collect basic text information such as a name or address.

You can also use a Text Component to request other types of non standardized data such as numbers, dates, times, phone numbers, zip codes, etc

A Text Component has a configurable Text Label to give context to the app user as to it's requirements, an optional Default Text value, a useful option when it can be predetermined what the value of the Text Field will most likely be and an optional Description field to facilitate additional context to the Text Component.

In the context of validation a Text Component can be required to be completed by the app user if necessary and can also be configured to have a minimum and maximum field length.
